Website information
Privacy notice
Last updated September 28, 2026
This notice explains the optional visit analytics used on this website. We require your choice before loading Metricool or Google Analytics. This is a site-wide opt-in setting; privacy and cookie rules can differ depending on where a visitor is located.
Website analytics
If you choose “Allow analytics,” this site loads Metricool's JavaScript tracker. It makes an asynchronous request to Metricool to record visits so we can understand which pages are being viewed.
Metricool's Help Center says its tracker records the page URL and detects the visitor's country using the IP address. Metricool also says the tracker does not use cookies, store information on the visitor's device, or assign a unique identifier. Its documentation says it accesses the IP address during the request, does not store it, and provides anonymous, aggregated visit and page-view reports. These details describe Metricool's published documentation; see the links below for its current terms and explanations.
Google Analytics
If you choose “Allow analytics,” this site also loads Google Analytics through the Google tag. Google says its standard GA4 JavaScript tags use first-party cookies:_gadistinguishes users, and_ga_<container-id>persists session state. Google says the default Analytics implementation collects user counts, session statistics, approximate geolocation, and browser and device information. These are Google's descriptions of its standard product behavior; see its documentation below.
Your analytics choice
- Choose “Allow analytics” to load Metricool and Google Analytics, or “Reject analytics” to keep both off.
- We save your selection in this browser's local storage so it is remembered. This preference is stored separately from the analytics cookies Google documents.
- You can change your selection at any time using “Privacy choices” in the site footer. If you change from allow to reject, the page reloads to apply the change.
Scope and questions
This notice covers Metricool and Google Analytics only. It does not describe the handling of information you submit through a roofing inquiry or the separate owner sign-in area. For questions about this notice, please use our contact page.
