Contractor and homeowner reviewing paperwork

Roofing and Your Insurance Claim

We document the damage and can be there when your adjuster inspects. Your claim stays in your hands.

What a Roofer Can (and Can't) Do

Filing a roof insurance claim can be frustrating and confusing. Here's where we fit. We inspect your roof for free, document what we find with clear photos, and give you a detailed scope of the repairs your roof needs. You can share that documentation with your insurance company. The claim itself is between you and your insurer: Texas law does not allow a roofing contractor to negotiate a claim or represent a homeowner with their insurance company, and we don't.

How We Help With the Roofing Side

Detailed Documentation

We provide photos and a line-item breakdown of the storm damage we find, for your records and to share with your insurance company.

At Your Adjuster's Inspection

With your permission, we can be there when your insurance adjuster inspects the roof to point out the damage we documented and answer questions about the scope and cost of repairs.

Quality Restoration

Once your claim is decided, we complete the approved work to a high standard.

Important Note

In Texas, it is illegal for a roofing contractor to pay, waive, or rebate your insurance deductible. Be wary of any company that offers to. We follow all state laws and building codes to protect you and your property.

3rd Day Roofing is a roofing contractor, not a public adjuster. If you want someone to negotiate your claim for you, Texas licenses public adjusters through the Texas Department of Insurance.
